On December 4, 2006 Yahoo Search Marketing sent us an email informing us that the certification test had been upgraded to reflect the new features and enhancements to Yahoo! Sponsored Search. To maintain the title of ‘Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador’ any current Ambassadors had to take this new and improved test. While there was much complaining on several Online Marketing forums about this, I personally welcomed the opportunity to re-evaluate my skills and compare them to the expectations of Yahoo.

On January 31st, 2006 I logged in and passed the new test thus maintaining my certification title and recognition of what I have learned. You can view my certification status here.
